Celebrating Excellence: 3S Adolescent Care Finalists at the National Children & Young People Awards 2026

We are incredibly proud to announce that two outstanding members of the 3S Adolescent Care team have been shortlisted as finalists at the National Children & Young People Awards 2026.
Olivia Parker, Registered Manager, is a finalist for the Children’s Home Manager Award (North), while Jodie Morris, Senior Registered Manager, has been shortlisted for the Senior Manager Award.
The recognition is a wonderful achievement for both colleagues, but more importantly, it reflects the commitment, leadership and compassion they bring to their work with children and young people every day.
Meet Jodie Morris
Jodie brings over 13 years of experience within the children and young people's sector, having worked across a range of roles throughout her career.
As Senior Registered Manager at 3S Adolescent Care, Jodie is particularly passionate about advocating for vulnerable young people, including those who may sometimes be described as ‘hard to engage’.
Her approach is simple but powerful: look beyond behaviour and seek to understand what a young person may be communicating through it. Jodie believes that young people should be accepted, cared for, listened to and, most importantly, valued rather than judged or misunderstood.
She also plays a key role in developing managers and care teams, encouraging reflective and trauma-informed practice and creating a culture where colleagues feel able to learn, ask questions and continually improve.
Meet Olivia Parker
Olivia has worked in the care sector for more than 12 years, progressing from Residential Care Worker to her current role as Registered Manager at 3S Adolescent Care.
She has been part of Adlington Hall Lodge since the home first opened, playing an important role in developing a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for the young people living there.
For Olivia, effective care is built around consistency, clear boundaries, listening and creating meaningful opportunities for young people to develop confidence, independence and the practical skills they need for adulthood.
She is passionate about safeguarding, advocacy and ensuring that every young person's views, wishes and individual needs are heard.
Her leadership also extends to the teams around her. Olivia is committed to supporting and developing colleagues, recognising that strong, consistent teams are fundamental to delivering high-quality care.

Two leaders. One shared purpose.
Although Olivia and Jodie have their own individual roles and experiences, they share something fundamental: a genuine commitment to changing lives for the better.
Their work demonstrates that exceptional care is about much more than meeting needs. It is about building relationships, creating opportunities, championing inclusion and helping young people recognise their own potential.
Being shortlisted for these awards is a significant achievement, and everyone at 3S Adolescent Care is incredibly proud of them.
The National Children & Young People Awards 2026 take place on Thursday 22 October 2026.
Whatever the outcome on the evening, Olivia and Jodie have already achieved something worth celebrating: recognition for the dedication they demonstrate every day in supporting children and young people to build brighter futures.
Congratulations, Olivia and Jodie. We are incredibly proud of you both.
