Every referral begins with a young person, not a placement. 

At 3S Adolescent Care, we take time to understand each young person's needs, experiences, strengths and aspirations before considering how one of our homes could support them. We work closely with local authorities, social workers and other professionals to make the referral process clear, responsive and focused on achieving the right match.

A Thoughtful Approach to Matching

A successful placement is about much more than an available bed.

We consider the young person's individual needs alongside the environment, location, other young people within the home, staffing and support required, education and their longer-term goals. Where we believe 3S could provide the right environment, we work collaboratively with the professional network to plan the next steps and support a positive transition.

Making a Referral

Making an initial referral is straightforward. Share the young person's referral information with our placements team, including their current circumstances, support needs, risks, education requirements and any other information that will help us understand the placement required.
